Little Alamance Paddle

Kayla, Josiah, Jarrett, Elias and I went to the river with the canoe and a kayak. First we paddled about 1.5 miles up the Little Alamance Creek, back down and then a quarter mile up the Haw River to the old Spewsonville dam and climbed on the rocks and swam in the river. We saw a beaver, great blue heron, little heron, one deer, a kingfisher (or "fisher of kings", as Jarret called them) and some turtles. Great time was had by all.
