Independance Day Celebrations

We went over the Elm Street Dicksons for a picnic yesterday evening and then off to see the Burlington fireworks. Jeremiah made some very tasty "horse-devours". Hollow-Peenyo Peppers filled with cream cheese & some chili powder, wrapped with bacon and grilled. They were great.

Group photo - Devin was out fishing with William Johnston. Devin caught a 15-inch and 11-inch bass.
Not sure what this photo is saying about male - female relationships or responses. You have to draw your own conclusion - GRIN.

The pictures below them are the Founder's Day Celebration at the Knight's this afternoon.

None of our family won the hollerin' contest, but Casey won the watermelon seed spitting contest. DJ made a great effort in the Diaper Derby, but a girl cut in front of him and won - GRIN. The watermelon Rollin' contest was a hoot.

Waiting for the egg during the egg toss.

Watermelon Rolling contest.

Kayla won the pie baking contest with her cheese cake pie covered with a fruit flag - delicious and beautiful!!
