Cooked down some elderberries tonight. That's the first bunch - there should be a lot more next week. These aren't from my bushes, but still the wild ones from Governor Scott Road. Froze the juice for jelly some other time.
Some great eggplant this year.
But the German Johnson tomatoes are really the winners!! They are always ugly, but there sure look and taste great this year!
A baby robin on the lantern on the back deck. Looks like he has bushy eyebrows - GRIN Kayla, Devin, Devin's friend and myself are off to paddle and camp on Bear Island (Thurs - Saturday).
